Good morning.
The tax code can be unforgiving if you own a car in Missouri. Counties know where you live, what you drive and what you owe.
Private aircraft can be a different story.
Today’s lead story looks at a federal proposal backed by two Missouri Republicans that supporters frame as a privacy protection for pilots. But local officials say it could make it much harder to collect taxes that are already owed on private planes and helicopters.
