Good morning,

Missouri’s Amendment 3 would reinstate an abortion ban with limited exceptions. But some of its most prominent supporters are spending much of the campaign talking about something else: transgender healthcare for minors.

That’s not accidental.

Jamie Reed, a former St. Louis gender clinic worker now campaigning for Amendment 3, put the strategy plainly at a recent event: “If we talk to people about the trans part of this amendment, we can get it to pass.”
