Good morning,

Two proposals Missouri Secretary of State Denny Hoskins kept off the November ballot had enough valid signatures to qualify. We know that now because of data from Hoskins’ own office and a new court filing.

What happens next is up to a Cole County judge, and eventually, the Missouri Supreme Court.

One proposal would limit lawmakers’ ability to change laws passed by voters. The other would ask Missourians whether to throw out the congressional map Republicans approved last year.
