Good morning,
Missouri’s congressional map fight took another turn Monday, but for now, nothing changes.
A federal appeals court ruled the state must use the GOP-drawn 2025 map in November, then put the decision on hold for a week while opponents appeal to the U.S. Supreme Court.
That means election officials will keep using the 2022 districts as absentee voting begins, with ballots already mailed to overseas voters across Missouri and another deadline looming next week.
