Good morning,

Missouri Attorney General Catherine Hanaway’s lawsuit against American Shaman ended Thursday with a deal that immediately takes kratom and 7-OH products off the company’s Missouri shelves.

That outcome is notable not just because American Shaman is the state’s largest distributor of kratom products, but because it comes a month after a Jackson County judge declined to grant Hanaway’s request for an immediate temporary restraining order. The court said then that the case included competing expert claims and unresolved questions.
