Good morning,
Missouri lawmakers are done passing bills for the year. Now the question shifts to Gov. Mike Kehoe. One proposal headed to his desk would let schools hire a new kind of armed guard called a “Missouri Ranger,” reopening a familiar fight over what school safety should look like in practice.
Also today: A new study looks at miscarriage care in states with abortion bans and finds patients are seeing fewer treatment options.
